Catalyst is a competitive program designed to spotlight the most promising healthtech startups through a curated pitch and networking experience at eCapWest. Finalists are selected by a council of industry leaders and invited to present on site.

Who should apply to the Catalyst program?

We’re looking for innovative healthtech startups with real-world solutions, strong market potential, and the ability to make a measurable impact in the next 12–18 months.

Who is on the Catalyst Council and what is their role?

The Catalyst Council is made up of respected healthcare operators, investors, and industry experts who review applications, score startups, and select the finalists.

What are the selection criteria for Catalyst finalists?

Finalists are chosen based on innovation, market readiness, clinical or operational impact, scalability, and the strength of the founding team.

What do Catalyst finalists receive if chosen?

Finalists gain access to eCapWest, the opportunity to pitch their solution to key decision-makers, meet with investors, network with healthcare leaders, and build traction for their business.

Is there a cost to apply or attend if selected?

There is no cost to apply. If selected, there is a cost to attend.

Are travel and accommodations included?

No, selected Innovators will need to cover their costs for travel and accommodations.

Can I attend eCapWest without applying for Catalyst?

Yes, Sponsorships are required in order to attend. Please contact us and a member of our team will reach out with more information
